Gone to a Good Home

Mindy

This little kitty is about 4-8 weeks old and I’m guessing it’s a he. We were gonna name it Mindy but from the looks of things, we won’t be able to tell. So it’s Magic for now.

Magic was abandoned with his two other siblings two days ago on 4th April. AS saw him yesterday evening on the way to get dinner and his other siblings are nowhere to be found. Magic is a sweet little kitty and just needs a little love and care. He’s curious and playful, and readily loves. He’s still very little now but is able to eat soft foods.

Please do forward this link if you think someone might be able to give him a home. Do leave a comment if you have questions and you can see more of his pictures here. He’s really got a lot of love to give. :)

8 April 2008. We’re going to take him for a regular check up at the vet tomorrow. Dr. Heng saw his picture and guessed that he might be 4-8 weeks old. Healthwise he looks fine to me, but I just like the vet to take a look at him to be sure. He eats well and is definitely toilet trained. (he did both in the kitty litter provided yesterday after I responded to the comment in yesterday’s post.) We’ve bought kitty formula for him and here he is checking it out.

Here’s Magic enjoying his daily dose

He gets along well with Mollie and I think it’s because he’s too young to know what to fear. Thinking about that I start to wonder what would have happened to him if he’s still out there all alone~!

9 April 2008. It’s official – It’s A Girl! So Mindy it shall be. I took her to the vet today for a regular check up. Other then a small fur mite problem. Mindy is all OK. She’s given Revolution to treat that mite problem and should be alright in a bit. She’s also given her deworming solution and we will have to give her the second dose in another two weeks. No vaccinations yet though because it’s better that she does so after a week or two in her new home, wherever that might be. Mindy is also only 0.57kg heavy. That’s ok for her age but well I was thinking she’s about 1/11th of Mang. We’re expecting her to have amber eyes in future so I think she’s going to be a beauty! Here’s a pic of her while waiting for the vet. She’s too small and uncomfortable in the pet carrier so she loves it in the bag.

27 April 2008. Mindy has gone to stay with her prospective new family since 18 April, and I am glad to say everything has gone well. She has made friends with the family’s cat and is well-settled into their home. We are so glad to find her this family who loves animals to bits~ She’s now known as Rex and is loved by a wonderful family of four, plus a kitty friend Rhody. The ten days I’ve spent with her were tiring, but so full of fun. I learnt something new about her everyday. Unfortunately, having her also made me realized that I’m at my limit – I can’t take in another fur at this stage. So yes, it wasn’t easy to let her go, but I know she’s better off where she is now. Let’s all wish her all the best and may her kitty life be full of love, joy and catnip!
