sigh…

urgh. so today AS and I were having coffee. We were somewhere near the entrance of the shop and there were stalls selling bags and watches within our sight. This couple was sitting in front of us and the lady was facing the stalls.
Anyways what happened was, in the midst of our coffee break, there was a sudden commotion. We heard a woman shouting away in mandarin and we turned to see this 40 year old (i’m guessing) yelling at the young salesgirl from the stall selling watches. Behind her was a 5 or 6 year old boy shrieking away like a maniac, flailing his arms about.
Apparently the boy knocked over something and the salesgirl told him to be careful.
His mother (I presume) yelled at the girl saying ‘What are you so anxious about?!!! I’ll pay lah~~~!!! You think I no money ah!???’
I saw the girl pick up something from the ground and then she seemed to be explaining something, I thought she was saying that she was just trying to tell the boy to be careful but I’m not very sure.
In response the woman shouted ‘WHAT!?? Why are you talking so loudly!??? AH??!?’ And then she added that the girl was rude, and that she had money to pay for whatever the boy broke.
and it went on for a few minutes while the boy was still shouting away.
The entire mall heard the commotion I think, and those who saw what happened felt so bad for the salesgirl. In the end the lady just walked off still shouting at the girl.
