A little…
disappointed. I was hoping to have a good Japan-Weekend before class starts on monday. So I went to watch L: Change the World. Yes it’s highly-anticipated. So highly-anticipated that it disappointed me so much. The Death God Ryuk only appeared less than a minute, and while L was always interesting, and has shown a little bit of his sensitive side I guess, it wasn’t enough to eliminate the lame-ness of that ebola-flu virus. The good guys did a good job however (i.e. Watari, L, Maki, and Near and gang) since the bad guys were totally lame. Especially the deranged girl with her crazed look, yelling away with odd postures, brandishing her weapon of choice. Bleah. I’ll stick with the original tale. Which reminds me, I should finish reading my Manga.
TV. Well it’s not a little TV but anyways we bought a new TV yesterday. It’s HD and bigger than the one we have in the hall now. It’ll arrive on wednesday and I really think, well it might be a splurge. I mean AS keeps saying we should get one since we have the PS3 now but I can still play my games so it’s not so bad. And AS is going to start working at the other end of the island, so we might need to get a car. I guess that’s why I wasn’t really keen on getting the TV but I guess he’s right, the cost of the TV isn’t going to affect buying a car much. I guess.
pissed. With this old lady on friday. I know it sounds mean but you know how I always encounter annoying occasions. So in this island republic we seem to have a lot of citizens (senior especially) who like to push their way out of a bus, EVEN IF everyone is already moving to get down. Those sitting on the inner seats near the windows especially, seem to fear that they will be slighted and forgotten and left to haunt the bus for the rest of their lives. So they will push their way out to be the first ones off the bus, even though they might be carrying a lot of things/have problems walking/the queue to alight has already formed and is moving/all of the above.
So this lady, who was sitting on the seat inside (and so I’m at the ‘aisle seat’) decided that she had to push her way to the front of the alighting queue. However she’s somehow forgotten that it’s the interchange and EVERYONE gets off anyways. While pushing with her numerous bags, she somehow stepped squarely on my slippered foot. What do I do? Yell ‘OW~!!!!!’ of course, and couple it with a fearsome glare. She was taken aback for like 10 seconds which was enough time for me to join the queue, AND for another passenger following behind me.
I think she started to push again because I felt the passenger behind me being pushed slightly.
geez.
fun. I went to Night Safari with Cloudy on thursday and we had good fun. She has a much better write-up than I do really. hehe. Anyways, this time we got to see most of the animals. And we even met the occasional annoying stranger, who this time was a grown man at the tram with his friend. He was making Moo-ing noises to cattle, clucking to birds (even if they weren’t chickens) and other random creature noises. He even wanted to reach out and touch a deer! It was so totally annoying (again! an annoying incident) and even his friend was quite irritated with his behavior. Thankfully they got off at the one and only stop in the route and we had a peaceful journey after that. Maybe he got freaked by the roaring lion (which was the only time he was quiet). Good job, Leo!
time left. yes, so i only have a little of my weekend left. And I’m still wondering what I should do. Maybe watch more yakitate since I’m in love with suwabara. 戒戒戒~!!!! I LOVE

With their fearsome pushing powers, senior citizens will one day rule the world! So we really have nothing to fear about the aging population. We’re no, ahem, pushovers.
